Nice Weather Again!

The last couple of days have been so beautiful! We had a taste in April then it turned cold again. The kids are so excited to finally have mild temps that I can hardly get them to come inside! Yesterday they had water fights & were soaked head to toe. Today was more of the same. Caleb only has 8 days left of school & we are all so ready to spend a relaxing summer together! Oh, Lazy Days, I love em! I am stocked up on popsicles and sunscreen!

Preschool was quite the adventure for Moriah. Tons of learning & Field trips thoroughout the year. It seems like every time she came home she had a new poem, song, verse or word she could recount. I think she will miss it quite a bit. She is already looking forward to Kindergarten, but we'll try not to rush the summer away with thoughts of Fall.

Headin' to the Gardens!

Field Trip! Caleb had his last field trip today & we had a great time at the Gardens. There was so much to see and do. I think my hearing has finally returned to normal after the bus rides to & from. WOW, those kids are loud!

Ok, I am making up for lost time. I am publishing a lot tonight because it has been a while. We are doing well but have been very busy. Trev has been sick for weeks but I think he may be pulling out of it a little (hopefully). He is busier than all get out (it's spring)! He is struggling to keep up with quotes.
I had a great Mother's Day. I was served waffles in bed (complete with warm syrup). The kids & Trev did a great job making me feel honored. We went to my In-Law's church & heard a great message and enjoyed the rest of the day with all our parents (lunch at one house, dinner at the other). I am going to be making donuts at the farm again this month (just a couple days)so put your orders in.
Caleb is doing well in school. He is SOOO excited about "Camp Read" tomorrow. The whole school is putting on special events ranging from camp songs around the "bonfire" to arts & crafts intermingled with lots of reading all day long.
My spitfire Moriah is keeping me on my toes. She has less than a week left of preschool, whatever will I do? She is so active, she is always riding her bike or scooter or wanting me to come outside & be with her while she plays. She also loves drawing & anything involving markers & scissors.
Well, you are now officially updated on what's new with us.

Moriah & Grandma take the Coopersville train!
Moriah's last preschool fieldtrip was a hit.
Grandma was glad to fill in for Mom. Moriah had a blast,
Grandma was a little bored.

Children's Museum Here We Come

We all had a fun evening at the Children's Museum. The kids had a blast jumping from one thing to the next. As always Moriah lingered at the bubbles a while. Caleb had fun doing the scavenger hunt. Dad & mom just tried to keep up :)

Birthday Bash

Well, Caleb turned 7 without incident. He was allowed to have his first all friends party. He chose the construction theme, as you can see. Everyone had a blast & I am thankful that the cake was small enough to leave NO LEFTOVERS!
